I used to love the television game show "The Price is Right." Beyond the insane level of excitement of the show was the oddly compelling quest to discover the right price of everyday items like refrigerators and bar stools. I always wondered how people could be off by multiples of the actual price--"people" including me, I confess.

This just handed me...according to an email from comScore about their press release distributed on PR Newswire and posted on their website, YouTube has just surpassed 100 million U.S. viewers for the first time. Ironically, there was no online video with the announcement.

Google Latitude Attracts A Million Users In A Week.

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona Spain, Google VP of Engineering Vic Gundotra apparently said that Google’s mobile friend finder service Latitude had seen “more than a million” mobile subscribers sign up for the service in the first week since launch on February 4.

Given that Google released Latitude in 27 international markets simultaneously and for multiple mobile platforms that’s not necessarily off the charts, but it’s a massive number for one week in my view.
